| Great Hostel located in the heritage neighbourhood. Colonial style building with nice middle size rooms. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Is very close to the chinatown. Walls are very thin so unforunatley is quite noisy. |

| Great location, ideal for hertitage walk (check out Daddy's on Jalan masjid kapitan keling opposite the church for a thirst quencher along the way, a cold tiger beer went down nicely, they've not long since opened and Sham was wonderful to talk to) catching buses elsewhere very easy too, if unsure just ask, people very helpful. I had a dorm, and whilst I thought it a tad bit stuffy (even with aircon) it was clean and comfortable and I slept like a log! The staff are lovely, very helpful and a smile served just as readily as the delicious banana cake for breakfast... |

| This place made our stay in Penang one that we will never forget. The house has a beautiful calm ambience and staff are so friendly, helpful and professional! Our room was clean, and we loved the breakfast each morning!! You will get ripped off if you stay anywhere else. Trust me, this is a fantastic place to stay!! | Hutton Lodge is in a beautiful restored mansion, so you get way more atmosphere than your average hotel. Every thing was clean and nice, the rooms were comfortable and the AC worked well. Really good value for your money. The only problem I had with this hotel is that we asked for an early wake up to catch a bus to Krabi, and they forgot to wake us until the transport was downstairs waiting for us, so we had to rush around getting everything together to leave in 5 minutes. My recommendation: buy yourself a cheap alarm clock if you need to wake up early, don't count on the overnight staff to do it! |

| This hostel has lots of character and is very close to Town Centre and buses. It's also clean and tidy and the guys on reception were extremely kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Hutton Lodge. |

| Hutton Lodge is one of the nicest hostels to stay in. It is lovely a clean, the beds are comfortable. It is quite quiet but there are a few areas to sit in where you can easily chat to people. The location is great and it is just round the corner from the main bus terminal to get buses to other places in the town. Nice basic breakfast and helpful staff for booking onward buses etc. |
